Men's Group

The main purpose of the group is to be a social meeting place for the men associated in any way with St Anne's Church, Bagshot. Some of our members are regular worshippers and may help with the running of the church whilst others have more tenuous links. We welcome new members for whom the group may be a bridge into further involvement and worship in our parish church. Whatever the reason for joining us, a welcome is extended to all who come to our meetings and other activities. A typical programme consists of four evening talks and two visits during the year. The talks are preceded by a meal. Some evenings are held in the new Church Centre, some in pub venues.

Members are welcome to bring friends / colleagues to Men's Group events. We hope that such guests might eventually decide that they want to come regularly. Register your interest in receiving details of Men's Group activities by email on the message pad below and we will send you full details of events as soon as they are available.

What it means to be a Christian.

Christian life is lived in relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and in common with other Christians in the church seeking to deepen that relationship and to follow the way that Jesus taught.

For Christians God is understood and known as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

…Father… God is love, caring for creation and for every human being as God's beloved child.

…Son… God is as he has revealed himself to be in the historical person of Jesus Christ. Jesus' life, death and resurrection holds the key to knowing and loving God, and to making sense of life, before and after death.

…and Holy Spirit… God is alive, loving and active today, inspiring faith, justice and truth, sustaining the life of the world, giving spiritual gifts to the church and bearing his spiritual fruit in the world - changed lives and a transformed society.
