Like all churches, St Anne's depends
for its upkeep on the generosity of
the public. Our vision is to establish
the Friends of St Anne's to bring
together all those who love and
value St Anne's and wish to support
its life and work in the Bagshot
community.
We invite you to respond to the
inspiration of this place and to join
a vibrant network of people who are
interested and care about this
special church and its work in
Bagshot, by making a small
financial contribution on a regular basis.
We need your help
Today, more than ever, St Anne's needs the
support of Friends to help ensure that the
place of the church in Bagshot is maintained
and enhanced, now and long into the future.
As a living community, we want to ensure
that this and future generations will be
inspired as so many have been before.
Membership of the Friends
The Friends of St
Anne's will receive an
occasional newsletter /
ebulletin with news
about St Anne's.
You will also be invited
to the following social
events:
- the Springtime Duke's Dinner - a
celebration of St Anne's establishment by
the Duke of Connaught.
- our Autumnal Pickle Night - a traditional
celebration of the HMS Pickle, the ship that
first brought the news of Nelson's victory at
the Battle of Trafalgar.
Much more importantly, your financial
support will help us to maintain the building
and to develop the work of St Anne's to
enhance its place within the local community.
It will also give us the chance to fund projects
outside the church's normal operating costs.
The more Friends we have, the greater our
ability to make a difference.

What it means to be a Christian.
Christian life is lived in relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and in common with other Christians in the church seeking to deepen that relationship and to follow the way that Jesus taught.
For Christians God is understood and known as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
…Father… God is love, caring for creation and for every human being as God's beloved child.
…Son… God is as he has revealed himself to be in the historical person of Jesus Christ. Jesus' life, death and resurrection holds the key to knowing and loving God, and to making sense of life, before and after death.
…and Holy Spirit… God is alive, loving and active today, inspiring faith, justice and truth, sustaining the life of the world, giving spiritual gifts to the church and bearing his spiritual fruit in the world - changed lives and a transformed society.

Friends
Friends are people who recognise the importance of ensuring that the village's Parish Church is able to continue serving the needs of future generations, but are not necessarily members of the church congregation.
FOSA seeks to encourage our Friends' support, but not to evangelize.
